Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
This is a structural placeholder. The headings, the anchors and the order below are the real shape of this document, and the prose under them is not: it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and it is not yet binding. Nothing on this page should be relied on until this notice is gone.
Contents
1. Acceptance
Using Ducal Game means accepting these terms. There is no button to press, because there is no sign-up — opening a Game link and playing it is the acceptance.
2. Eligibility
A minimum age and the position on children's privacy are still open and must be settled before launch. This section is deliberately empty rather than filled with a number nobody has decided.
3. Accounts
Accounts do not exist in this version. When they do, you will be responsible for keeping your credentials to yourself, and this section will say so in more detail.
4. Using the product as a guest
Guest use is the normal case and carries the same rights and the same obligations as a signed-in one. The only practical difference is recovery: clear your browser storage and we can no longer prove a Game is yours.
5. Your content
Anything you write into a Game stays yours. You give us the permission we need to store it and to show it to the people you send the link to, and nothing beyond that.
6. Platform questions
Some Games are built from a question bank we wrote. Those questions are ours, and a Game you create from them does not transfer them to you.
7. Prohibited use
The Community Guidelines are part of these terms. Beyond what they list, do not attempt to bypass a limit the server enforces — the creation quota, the replacement budget, the Game lock — and do not automate play.
8. Intellectual property
The product, its name and its design are ours. Your content is yours. Neither becomes the other's by being displayed next to it.
9. Copyright
If something on this site infringes your copyright, the notice and takedown procedure is in the Copyright / DMCA document.
10. Moderation
Anyone can report a Game. A reported Game may be taken offline or removed. Every moderation action is recorded with who took it and why, and a removal does not return the creation slot the Game used.
11. Availability
The service is provided as it is. It may be unavailable, and a Game link may stop working — because it was unpublished, deleted or removed by moderation.
12. Termination
You can end this agreement at any time by erasing your data. We may end it for a serious or repeated breach of the Community Guidelines.
13. Liability
The limits of our liability are to be drafted by a lawyer. Until they are, nothing in this section should be read as a limitation of anything.
14. Changes to these terms
These terms are versioned: every saved edit is kept, so what the document said on a given day is a matter of record rather than of memory. Material changes will be announced before they take effect.
15. Governing law
The governing jurisdiction is to be named here before launch. A placeholder jurisdiction would be worse than none.
